Suzumiya Haruhi no Shoushitsu
The official Haruhi.tv website has been replaced by a fake 404 error with five form input fields.
After entering K, N, S, A, K and clicking the button, you will be presented with a console terminal running Yuki’s escape program.

After hitting the Enter key, you are brought to this page displaying a single JPG picture. The picture says that Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuuutsu season 2 has been cancelled but a new Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuuutsu anime series has been confirmed. I’m guessing they are planning to change the title of the new series to Suzumiya Haruhi no Shoushitsu (The Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya).
The new director will be Yasuhiro Takemoto, who also directed Full Metal Panic! The Second Raid and Full Metal Panic? Fumoffu. And of course, it’s still Kyoto Animation.
On another note, this website now has a Haruhi and Yuki banner in addition to the Miku one.

This is screaming to be taken out of context and put into a blogpost header. XD
That said, book four was some serious awesome for Nagato fanatics like me, so looking forward to “season 2″ even more after this confirmation.

That being said, it might mean another delay. Especially the copyright 2007, 2008, 2009 text sign. Just hope it doesn’t true.

I knew they’d pull something like this after the 7/7/7 event.(I should have been more noisy about this)
for those that did not read the novel dec. 18 is a really important date in the haruhi time line

Nah, the new director is actually a clone of the old one, so everything will still be exactly the same as before.

They are really hyping up the coming of Suzumiya Haruhi Season II…By the looks of it, it appears that they are doing The Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya, which is my favorite book so far. Can’t wait for it.

I use to hate the haruhi series but the books are great.(although they place too much mental stress on you if you read too much)
