StarCraft 2
StarCraft 2 was announced by Blizzard at its Worldwide Invitational event held in Seoul just over one and a half hours ago.
The game has not been finalized yet, but so far it looks just like what you would expect a sequel to StarCraft to look like. See the screenshots at IGN.com.

Originally the announcement today was speculated to be a StarCraft MMORPG due to sightings of Blizzard’s job posting for positions related to next-gen MMO game development, but apparently it turned out to be unrelated. Maybe for future additions to World of Warcraft?
Anyway, whatever the case is, StarCraft 2 is coming; South Korea’s productivity to drop by 70% in the next 5 years.

With the kind of expectations that people are placing on Starcraft 2, and the fact that the original Blizzard team is no longer with the company, it’s hard to imagine the game not ending up as a major disappointment to the majority of rabid fans worldwide.

‘Hell, it’s about time’ – literally. Thank god it ain’t another mmorpg crap. The gameplay videos of SC2 looks real promising. Definitely getting it.
I just pray that there won’t be another dota mod that comes out for it and totally ruins the whole freaking game. Just look at wc3, practically almost all the guys i know only bought the game just to play dota. Ask them about normal wc3 and they give you this plain dumb look ~ sheeesss.

from what ive seen the screenshots look really bad, the graphics have become too “cartoon” i have only seen the protoss units upclose so far… i hope the zerg are more realistic. blood and gore dripping off their slimy scales or skin…I havnt seen the gameplay video yet but i really hope those big weird pieces of shit arnt the siege tanks =/

I was a avid Starcraft fan and always loved the RTS game style but never really liked any of the other newer RTS games so i am really looking foward to Starcraft 2 i have watched the Game Play Videos and it looks so cool i just cant weght for it to come out when it dose. it will be so much fun. must go back and play the orriginal to re learn all the units now.

Well i saw some of the video, though i was to busy playing halo to acutally watch the thing at my friends house. Um, the graphics on it don’t really look as cool as starcraft one and broodwar. I am totally excited about it too. But I would defiantly have thought the graphics wouldn’t look like what they do.

The best thing about the first StarCraft is the gameplay. I’m a big fan of StarCraft and I’m looking forward to acquiring SC2. I hope this is not a disappointment like many Command and Conquer games.

Новый способ “наказать” тех, кто посмел участвовать в выборной кампании не на стороне действующей власти изобрели правоохранительные органы г.о. Химки.
Руководствуясь не нормой закона, а чьей-то “волей” сотрудники милиции решили “проверить” все фирмы, внесшие денежные средства в избирательный фонд неудобных кандидатов.
Начались “проверки” с телефонных звонков – где директор, сколько человек работает на фирме. После чего последовали “письма счастья” с просьбой предоставить всю бухгалтерскую документацию, учредительные документы фирмы, и даже, план экспликации БТИ.
Такие запросы химкинским фирмам рассылает 1 отдел Оперативно-розыскной части № 9 Управления по налоговым преступлениям ГУВД Московской области за подписью начальника подполковника милиции Д.В. Языкова.
И всё это в то время, когда Президент дал прямое указание правоохранительным органам о прекращении всех незаконных проверок малого и среднего бизнеса. С это целью внесены изменения в Федеральный закон “О милиции” – из статьи 11 этого закона исключены пункты 25 и 35, на основании которых ранее правоохранительные органы имели право проверять финансово-хозяйственную деятельность предприятий.
Видно, об изменениях действующего законодательства местные правоохранительные органы не уведомлены. И не смотрят телепередачи с выступлениями Президента.
Может быть, эта публикация подвигнет их к исполнению указаний Президента, а также к изучению и соблюдению действующего законодательства
