Da Capo II Release Date
ZOMG I can’t believe I missed this. Thanks to Shia for the reminder.
Da Capo II will be released on 26/5 in three different versions, the limited DVD-ROM edition (9,800 yen), the limited CD-ROM edition (9,800 yen) and the normal DVD-ROM edition (8,800 yen). Himeya is taking preorder for the limited edition of this and Summer Days.
I’m sooooo tempted to preorder both games, but the combine total including shipping via EMS is 217 USD. Zomgwtfbbq. That’s 351 SGD!!! Damn the Japanese economy!!!
What should I do!!!? Arghhhh. It’s either both or nothing. I can’t bring myself to choose between Setsuna and Nanaka. >_< But 351 SGD is just a few dollars short of a 2-gig iPod nano… That’s a fricking lot of money to spend in one go, especially on just two games. (Although technically I did spend about that much on School Days and Da Capo Plus Communication…)

If you have to pick just 1 game I’ll say Summer Days better :-

Look at the cast of characters and the fact that Makoto can bed all of them it seems coupled with the possiblity of a 4-way between him, Seikai, Kotonoha and Setsuna……
PS :- Summer Days had been delayed till 28/4.

I say , buy both , siphon off funds 1st , and put them back. Remember As long as you don’t get caught ! its ok ! (8th SAF core value)

for me, it’s all depends on what Limited Edition give… if it only give a single artbook or a single drama cd, i rather buy normal edition
but if it give dozen stuff like FF7AC Limited edition … then it really worthed imo
but it all depends to yours again… how much you like them… a fans can sacrifice many things to get the limited edition items~ ^^
While you can get ipod nano later… this limited things available for limited time ^^

If my Japanese comprehension was anywhere near good enough, I’d order DC II even if that meant eating ramen for the rest of the month. But I like the character designs for DC II much better than Summer Days, so that’s an easy choice for me. I’m sure Nanaka-chan wants you to buy DC II ^_^

Don’t tell me you’re getting an ipod nano as well? In that case you gotta choose between 2 games and 1 ipod.
How do you get your games anyway? Amazon? probably not i think, they don’t ship softwares internationally -_-” Maybe Himeya?

that is pre-order tickets~ people in japan usually pre-order items to make sure they got the item… since limited items gone so damn fast~ … i heard genso suikoden v limited edition sold out on first day! … nihon-jin sometimes to anthusiast ^^;
