{"id":806,"date":"2007-05-19T15:51:38","date_gmt":"2007-05-19T07:51:38","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.darkmirage.com\/2007\/05\/19\/starcraft-2\/"},"modified":"2007-05-19T21:14:11","modified_gmt":"2007-05-19T13:14:11","slug":"starcraft-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.darkmirage.com\/2007\/05\/19\/starcraft-2\/","title":{"rendered":"StarCraft 2"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.starcraft2.com\/\"><strong>StarCraft 2<\/strong><\/a> was announced by <a href=\"http:\/\/blizzard.com\/\">Blizzard<\/a> at its Worldwide Invitational event held in Seoul just over one and a half hours ago.<\/p>\n<p>The game has not been finalized yet, but so far it looks just like what you would expect a sequel to StarCraft to look like. <strong>See the screenshots at <a href=\"http:\/\/media.pc.ign.com\/media\/850\/850126\/imgs_1.html\">IGN.com<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"caption\"><a href=\"http:\/\/blizzard.com\/\"><img src='http:\/\/www.darkmirage.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2007\/05\/19_sc2.jpg' alt='Starcraft 2' style='height:154px; width:400px;' \/><\/a><br \/>\nTimeline recently added to Blizzard&#8217;s index page<\/p>\n<p>Originally the announcement today was speculated to be a <a href=\"http:\/\/kotaku.com\/gaming\/world-of-starcraft%3F\/blizzard-working-on-next+gen-mmo-255852.php\">StarCraft MMORPG<\/a> due to sightings of Blizzard&#8217;s <a href=\"http:\/\/www.blizzard.com\/jobopp\/programmer-lead-engine.shtml\">job posting<\/a> for positions related to next-gen MMO game development, but apparently it turned out to be unrelated.
