The first batch of 5000 units is due for release in February and the preorders, online and offline at Akihabara, were gone in a matter of hours. The second batch was put up today and is due for release in April.

And once again, preorders ended at record speed. I think we can all agree that Haruhi is awesome and this happens to be the most accurate representation of her awesomeness so far, making it one of the most awesome-nest figures ever. To misquote the late Winston Churchill, never in the history of human conflict entertainment has so many fapped so hard to so few.

Your best hope now is to keep refreshing CDJapan because they have yet to start taking orders for the new batch. Alternatively, pray for HLJ.

P.S. I ordered two from HLJ for the first batch. I hope they are able to fulfil the orders…
