First we have <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Dragonball_(film)\">Dragonball<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/movies.ign.com\/objects\/480\/480898.html\">Akira<\/a> and now this. I guess Marvel is officially running out of franchises to turn into movies.<\/p>\n<p class=\"caption\"><img src=\"http:\/\/www.darkmirage.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/04\/15_gits.jpg\" alt=\"Code Geass R2\" style=\"width:400px; height:216px;\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Universal and Sony Pictures were apparently after the license too, but Steven&#8217;s star power bagged it for DreamWorks. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.imdb.com\/name\/nm0032696\/\">Avi Arad<\/a> (former CEO of Marvel Studios), <a href=\"http:\/\/www.imdb.com\/name\/nm1354278\/\">Ari Arad<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.imdb.com\/name\/nm0666999\/\">Steven Paul<\/a> are producing the movie and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.imdb.com\/name\/nm2203768\/\">Jamie Moss<\/a> is in-charge of screenplay. I&#8217;m guessing Spielberg counts the money.<\/p>\n<p>While Yahoo! News is eager to point out Avi Arad&#8217;s involvement in X-men, Spiderman and Fantastic Four, (which I guess are considered good movies by modern standards) I find it an ominous sign that all three producers worked on <a href=\"http:\/\/www.imdb.com\/title\/tt0259324\/fullcredits\">Ghost Rider<\/a> together, because that was one of the worst Marvel movie adaptations I have ever watched.<\/p>\n<p>&#91; Source: <a href=\"http:\/\/headlines.yahoo.co.jp\/hl?a=20080415-00000006-vari-ent\">Yahoo!
