Animation is OVA quality and significantly better. Soundtrack seems to be the same, except for the new theme song. (Crap BTW.) The episode starts with the Meister Otomes gathering in space to destroy an incoming asteroid and ends off with a mysterious attack on the academy by an unknown invader. In between, we have neko ramen, teenage quarrels, Shizuru in swimsuit, and a taiyaki thrown in for good measure.

The story takes place one year after the end of the TV series and Arika is now Mashiro’s full-fledged Meister Otome. The new OP song is “Believe ～eien no kizuna～” performed by Mika Kikuchi (Arika Yumemiya).

All I can say is: WTF happened to Minami!?
