In early September The World Bank organized a discussion about the status quo of One Laptop per Child in South America. It was mostly based around the observations I made during the 6 1/2 weeks I spent traveling through Uruguay, Paraguay, and Peru. Additionally Wayan as well The World Bank's Sr. Education Economist Cristian Aedo shared their thoughts on what is going on in these countries. Towards the end we opened the talk to comments and questions from the audience which resulted in some very interesting insights.
